Mr. Martin's Class 2: Why are cell phones so dangerous for driving?

Today our class will tell you about Why cell phones are so dangerous for driving.

Questions:

How would you feel if you hurt someone on the sidewalk because you wanted to check a text message that wasn't really important?  Isn't your life and the other peoples life important?

How would you feel if someone you loved died because of a driver checking Facebook?

When you use cell phones if you are driving, accidents Will happen.
Some people did an experiment about this problem.
In the experiment, some volunteers perform a simple simulated driving task:

The experimenters ask this: But does any conversation lead to driving errors? In a second experiment, Strayer and Johnson used a similar apparatus, but instead of using red and green lights, they had participants drive over “easy” and “difficult” courses. The volunteers were first asked to simply repeat words to the experimenter over the telephone.

This is the most dangerous thing to do on your phone while driving.
